ReFrame Pittsburgh

“ReFrame is like getting your eyes checked when you didn’t realize you needed glasses. Everything becomes clearer.”  -Seyon Kim, Realtor, MacRealty

Challenge your church or small group to connect faith to all of life.

Our lives are increasingly complex and so is our modern world. As a result, Christians often struggle to connect what they believe with what they do day by day. How do we address this?

Steve Garber and Mark Mayhew will guide us through an interactive day of thinking through how to inspire or lead people to take the challenge of connecting faith to every aspect of life. The day will be built around intensive engagement with the themes of ReFrame.

ReFrame is a 10-session, video based bible study that gives people a compelling vision of the gospel, provides participants with the framework of the Biblical story, and invites them to find where their stories connect to God’s story whatever their occupation may be: parent, student, business owner, doctor or retiree.

ReFrame can be used throughout a church, in select small groups, in student groups, or with a small group of friends and co-workers.

The day will be designed for those who are curious about using ReFrame, have already used ReFrame, or those who are simply interested in helping people develop a deeper understanding of faith that can be connected to their day to day lives.

Here is what you can expect to get out of the day:

  • Why we need ReFrame. What’s the problem and where’s the discipleship gap? Why do people struggle to connect faith with everyday life, and how does giving people the whole Biblical story help remedy this?
  • ReFrame overview–This is what ReFrame is and does.
  • Prepare leaders to lead their people through ReFrame.
  • Facilitated dialogue around the challenges of whole life discipleship (cultural challenges, structural challenges, and pastoral challenges).
