Katelyn is an author and editor at large for Christianity Today magazine. She served as Christianity Today’s youngest and first female managing editor, and has just released her first book, A Woman’s Place: A Christian Vision for Your Calling in the Office, the Home, and the World.
She presents a fresh new way for women— and the church— to think about work. In a world where women today inhabit every professional sphere, yet many still feel that work must be justified, she brings encouragement and wisdom to an often heated topic.
In her 9 years with Christianity Today, she was also the leader of This Is Our City and co-founder of Her.meneutics, a daily website covering news, cultural trends, and theology from the perspective of Christian women.
Katelyn has written for The Atlantic, The Washington Post, The New York Times, Books & Culture, Fare Forward, Q Ideas, and Cultural Encounters: A Journal for the Theology of Culture.
Obviously a lover of words— she believes they can change the world. Katelyn is a graduate of Calvin College, and lives outside Chicago, Illinois.
